LFP - Looking for Primarchs! Although most of my 40k games do not require prior knowledge of 40k lore, this one is the exception. If you enjoy Warhammer 40k and want to play as one of them returning to the 40k setting, this is the game for you! A few things first: 1) The system is Powered by the Apocalypse (PBTA), no d100 or d6 pool bullshit. If you do not know how to play PBTA, its super simple. Roll 2d6. 10+ is full success, 7-9 is a partial success, and under 6 is a fail. Simple. Why? cuz we care about the narrative and character development, and cinematic fights! Not rolling 50d6 like W&G, like WTF?? 2) This is a strategy/political game more than a traditional wargame or RPG. You play Primarchs. You have fleets. You're not gonna be at the head of every conflict. 3) This is also a long-term game. Our first season was about 30 episodes. Our 2nd season probably won't be that long, but this game should be going on for years, so if you dont think your schedule can handle it, don't volunteer. 4) Be reliable. Show up to games. I don't really tolerate no-call-no-shows anymore. Honestly, if you are constantly unable to make the game, I'll probably kick you out after your 2nd consecutive absence. I'm just done with unreliable players. 5) The game sessions will be on ALTERNATING Tuesdays at 7pm EST. 6) Some Primarchs are already claimed, so I am sorry if you cannot play your preferred Primarch.
